We may receive professional contact details from your employer, a colleague, a referral partner, publicly available business sources or service providers acting on our behalf.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries and assess how we may support your organization;
- provide requested resources, consultations and professional services;
- manage business relationships and communicate about projects;
- send insights or marketing communications where we have the required consent or other lawful basis;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website and services;
- maintain records, prevent fraud or misuse, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
We limit collection, use and disclosure to purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
5. Retention and safeguards
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, to meet legal or contractual requirements, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary with the nature and sensitivity of the information and the reason it was collected. We then securely delete, destroy or anonymize it.
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, withdraw consent, or challenge our privacy practices. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit a request where the law permits or requires us to do so.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message or by contacting us. Transactional or service-related communications may continue where necessary.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another applicable privacy regulator.
